The Blue Devils' One Music One World program is partnering with the Field Band Foundation of South Africa.

Mission

We have already built leaders. Now we will build world-savvy leaders.

The Blue Devils use music and the performing arts to connect youth with their culture through a common language that crosses generational, social, and racial barriers. Through a global exchange program, we can:

  • Facilitate cultural, instrument, and instructional exchange
  • Provide experiential learning on social justice

Our global exchange program will start with a partnership between The Blue Devils and the Field Band Foundation of South Africa. This partnership will be the first of many, building long-term international relationships that impact our youth and the world.

This program will make an impact on kids' lives around the world today by inspiring, connecting, and building character through music.

Create a comprehensive, widely publicized, and sustainable program that will gain awareness for world music and arts programs. The first partnership with the Field Band Foundation will be the flagship effort that will provide support through:

  • Engaging Blue Devil educators in the annual FBF Championship events
  • Exchange opportunities for Blue Devil graduates and educators to teach at the FBF Academy
  • Exchange opportunities to have South African students study in the BDPA organization
