Jim Wunderlich is entering his eighth year as the Front Ensemble caption head and arranger. Jim also visits Japan several times a year where he is the Front Ensemble arranger and caption head for Tokyo's Soka Renaissance Vanguard. Other past drum corps credits include work with the Seattle Cascades, the Velvet Knights, the Brigadiers and Esperanza. Jim marched tenors for the Suncoast Sound in 1989.

Jim has been the Front Ensemble arranger and caption head for the eight-time Winter Guard International Scholastic World medalist Mission Viejo High School and three-time Independent World gold medalist Riverside Community College. Jim has served on the WGI Percussion Advisory Board since 1996, and is a founding member of the Southern California Percussion Alliance.
