Sean Vega
Sean Vega is the Program Coordinator and Battery Arranger for the WGI Independent World Class Champion Riverside Community College Winter Percussion Ensemble. This highly decorated ensemble has not placed lower than fourth at the WGI World Championship and has won the Gold Medal three times. Sean also serves as the percussion arranger for the world-renowned Riverside Community College Marching Tigers. The Marching Tigers have a list of appearances that include the Bands of America Grand National Championships, the Pasadena Rose Parade, the Macy�s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and film and TV credits such as Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, The Truman Show, American Pie 2, American Pie: Band Camp, Monk, Boston Public, Charmed, and the Gilmore Girls.
Sean was a full time member of the prestigious percussion staff of the eleven time DCI Champion Concord Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps from 1998 to 2006. The Blue Devils is also where he served as a member of the tenor line from 1994 to 1997. In these thirteen combined years with BD, Sean has helped the corps win five DCI Championships, 3 DCI High Percussion Awards, and the DCI Multi-Tenor Individual Title in 1995.
As an arranger, composer, and choreographer, Sean�s list of credits include entertainment provided for a long list of distinguished companies such as Rite Aid, Mazda, Peoplesoft, Wells Fargo, Jaguar, the National Basketball Association, and the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon.
As a current endorser of Pearl, Promark, Remo, Zildjian, and Xymox Percussion, Sean actively performs, adjudicates, and serves as a clinician for Bands of America, Bowl Games of America, Percussive Arts Society, Drum Corps International, and Drum Corps Europe.
Sean received an Associate of Arts from Riverside Community College in 2002 and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from California State University San Bernardino in 2005.
