Brian Dinkel

For nearly 10 years, Brian has been in demand as a performer, teacher, and arranger
in the Southern California area. In that time, he has performed with internationally renowned
artists such as Peter Erskine, Alex Acuna, Tom Scott and Ed Shaughnessy. In addition, Brian has
had the privilege of teaching for some of the most highly decorated programs in Southern California;
a list that includes Riverside Community College (WGI World Class Champions, 2005, 2007 and 2012), Chino Hills HS (2009 WGI PSW Bronze Medal) and Chino HS (5-time SCSBOA 6A Champion, 2010 WGI PSW Finalist).

Brian has been the Front Ensemble Technician at Riverside Community College since the Fall of
2004, and was also the Front Ensemble Technician and later Co-Caption Head/Arranger of the
Esperanza Drum and Bugle Corps. (2004 - 2006 DCI Division 1 Quarterfinalist)

Brian currently resides in Simi Valley, California, where he is completing his BM in Percussion
Performance at California State University, Northridge.

Brian is a member of the Percussive Arts Society, and proudly uses Evans Drumheads and Pro-mark sticks and mallets.
