- System Blue
For over 20 years the A Corps Devils Pride Booster Club has been dedicated to volunteering our time, energy and resources to support the Blue Devils A Corps. The Blue Devils eat better than any other drum corps (at least that's what the corps members tell us), thanks to the energy and creativity of the Booster Club.
In addition to food preparation, sewing uniforms, and administrative activities, we also do a substantial amount of fundraising. Most of our active membership are parents whose sons or daughters "aged out" long ago, but still choose to support the Blue Devils because they feel strongly about the importance of the activity.
If your son or daughter is a new member of the A Corps, and you live in the Contra Costa area, please contact us. We would love to meet you and help you get involved with The Booster Club. We really want you to be a part of this group. Friends who love drum corps and just want to help, even just once in awhile, are welcome too.
We hope that, for whatever reason you decide to join us, you will also grow to love the Blue Devils as much as we do.

The A Corps Booster Club is also a fundraising organization. We work 49'rs games and Giants games selling beer, hot dogs, soda, nachos, peanuts and popcorn. Over the years our fundraisers have helped fund yearbooks, the annual Finals Brunch, and the send-off BBQ. We supply money for free days, pizza parties, ice cream socials, and popsicle treats, not to mention the ever-popular Gatorade and PB&J at Mars. We supply the unique "Property of" T-shirts and we have been known to help subsidize the cost of DCI rings. We make large purchases like the electric cart, and small ones such as a coffeemaker or food processor.
We had a wonderful turn out for the Giant's playoffs and world series games. Our neighbors to the south, the Santa Clara Vanguard decided to help us out. Without the extra people, our money for these games would have been a lot lower. Thank you Vanguard. We brought in quite a bit of money for the treasury to add to next year's budget. We are now in the middle of the 49ers' season and always need help with these games. If you can help on a Sunday, call or email Yvonne Moss.
The Booster club was very fortunate to be able to participate in the concessions for this year's San Francisco Giant's World Series games. We made over $2000 for the corps and had a great time doing this work. We never got to see the games, but the fans were great, as always, and a television was visible from our stand. Thank you to our friends from the Santa Clara Vanguard, who helped out with the games as well. They were able to make some needed money for this year's Winter Guard program at SCV.
