Dakota Lancaster grew up in Brenham, Texas where he attended school until his Freshmen year of high school and then moved to the tiny town of Junction, Texas just northwest of San Antonio.

After his Senior year, he joined the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps for their 2016-2018 season. Dakota goes to West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas just south of Amarillo, Texas, where he is studying Music Education and Composition.
