Rebecca is originally from the Sacramento area and currently works in Education in the East Bay, and greater Sacramento area. She studied at CSU Sacramento where she obtained her BA in Public Relations, and pursued a career in corporate event planning and management. 2025 is her 4th year with BDPA.

She started her marching career at CSU- Sacramento as a marching member and drum major. She continued her marching career with the Sacramento Mandarins (2013-2018), where she started on mellophone and eventually worked her way up to Lead Tour Manager, assisting with their first appearance in DCI World Class Finals in 2018.
