Holly began her colorguard career at Independence High School in San Jose, California. She continued to pursue her love for colorguard at San Jose State University for two seasons and later, became part of the Spartan Spectrums Jazz Dance Team.

During her college years, Holly marched both in the winter with the San Jose Raiders (2004-2007) and Santa Clara Vanguard (2006) Independent World Guards and the summer with the Blue Devils.

After Drum Corps, she had the privilege to perform in the Japan production, "Odyssey," produced and choreographed by Scott Chandler and Karl Lowe. Soon after, she was selected to cheer with the NFL Oakland Raiderettes in 2010.

She was last seen on the field as a co-host alongside Dan Potter for the Tour of Champions series during the 2012-2013 season. Holly is married to Marco Nicola, who she met through Blue Devils organization and resides in the Bay Area.
