
Beth Maria Karlin was raised in Concord and grew up in The Blue Devils. Beth was a member of the 'B' Corps color guard from 1977-79 and a member of the 'A' Corps from 1980-81 and again from 1985-87. She began teaching the 'B' drum and bugle corps in 1990. Additionally, she served as a flag technician with The Blue Devils 'A' Corps from 1992-1996. In addition to her responsibilities with The Blue Devils, Beth was the Guard Director and flag technician for James Logan High School Color Guard from 1995-2004. Beth's additional credits include the Color Guard Programs at Clovis, Clayton Valley, Amador Valley and Overfelt High Schools. Beth earned a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology and Dance from San Jose State University. She received her California Teaching Credential from the California State University at Hayward. Beth is currently a K-2 Literacy Coach and Intervention Teacher at Indiana Math & Science Academy. She lives with her daughters Summer Dae (born in 2000) and Willow Blue (born in 2005) in Indianapolis, Indiana.
