
Donna Batchelor spent 23 years in the commercial real estate industry where she was a Partner in her firm in charge of the business operations and the property management team for a San Francisco based real estate development and management company focused on office and industrial properties.
After Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, as a volunteer, Donna spent several months in Mississippi working through the national office of Rebuilding Together to re-establish a local affiliate in the region to begin to allow volunteer labor to assist with the rebuild process in the region. For her work, she received the 2006 Carolyn L. Morgan, National Volunteer of the Year Award in Washington, D.C.
Donna marched with the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps as Drum Major from 1974-1976. She is a past member of the Policy Advisory Board for the Fisher Center for Real Estate & Urban Economics, University of California, Berkeley as well as Past President of the Board of Directors for Rebuilding Together Oakland, the local affiliate of a national non-profit organization.
