A lifelong percussionist, Emile marched his first year with The Blue Devils "B" Drum and Bugle Corps in 2013 with the Euphonium section. From 2014 through 2015, he performed with the Front Ensemble. While in the Front Ensemble, he helped earn the B Corps sixth-in-a-row Best Percussion Performance Award at DCI Open Class Finals in 2014, and was Open Class World Champion in 2014.

After the 2015 DCI season, Emile joined BDWinds, where he served as principal percussionist until 2017. In 2018, he earned his Bachelors of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

From 2017 to 2024, Emile has worked with numerous programs in the San Francisco Bay Area as instructor and arranger, contributing to the success and achievement of countless caption awards and first place finishes.

In addition to supporting BD Performing Arts Programs, Emile currently works as Front Ensemble Caption Head and Arranger for Lehi High School, Front Ensemble Instructor at Horizon Percussion, and is on the Operations Team of The Battalion Drum & Bugle Corps from Salt Lake City, Utah.



In his spare time, Emile loves to volunteer time to his church, embark on culinary adventures with his wife, Rosie, and collect sneakers. He also loves to ride motorcycles and prevent MainStage from crashing again.
