A lifelong percussionist and multi-instrumentalist, Emile marched his first year with The Blue Devils "B" Drum and Bugle Corps in 2013 with the Euphonium section. For 2014 and 2015, he moved to the Front Ensemble where he was a part of earning the sixth-in-a-row Best Percussion Performance Award at DCI Open Class Finals in 2014, and was Open Class World Champion in 2014.
After the 2015 DCI season, Emile joined The Diablo Wind Symphony, where he served as principal percussionist until 2017. He also started teaching Marching Band locally at Deer Valley High School and Freedom High School, before finally settling as a program consultant at Heritage High School from 2016 to 2020.
Emile also lent his talents to Ygnacio Valley High School from 2018-2020 as Percussion Caption Head and Arranger. Under his direction, the school earned a silver medal for percussion performance in their division with the Northern California Bands Association (NCBA) in 2018 and 2019.
After taking time away from the activity to work as a session musician, Emile joined the staff of The Battalion Drum & Bugle Corps in 2021. Based out of Salt Lake City, Utah, Emile supported the staff and students overseeing the Medical Team in helping keep the members of the Corps healthy.
Emile currently works with the Blue Devils C Corps as Front Ensemble Instructor, Liberty High School as Percussion Instructor and Arranger, and John Swett High School as a music consultant.
In his spare time, Emile loves to volunteer his time to his church, where he teaches lessons with missionaries, and helps guide and inspire the youth. He also loves to ride motorcycles, pet dogs, and spend time with those he loves.
