There IS life after drum corps!
I graduated from CSUS in May 1990, and from Law school in May 1997. I am a Deputy Attorney General with the California Department of Justice.
My wife Jana and I were married in 1995, and we live in Davis, CA - not too far away from Concord. We have THREE boys (!), Ryan, Andrew, and Matthew.
A talented trumpet player, Matthew's Drum Corps career is well underway. He played Mellophone for C Corps in their 2019 production of California Dreaming. (Coincidentally, California Dreaming was our corps song in 1986. Seeing him play the solo in that piece brought a tear to my eyes!) in 2020 Matthew won the DCI I&E Mellophone championship (at age 15!), and in 2021 marched with the Troopers on mellophone as the youngest member of the hornline (at age 16). He is currently with Blue Devils B, working his way up the the A Corps!
