
Alexander Frank is a California native with a passion for teaching and the performing arts. Based out of the San Francisco Bay Area, Alex currently teaches brass with Blue Devils “B” Drum and Bugle Corps. He also teaches music with various programs while he pursues a Liberal Arts degree at California State University East Bay.
Alex has been practicing and performing for over twenty years and specializes in flute and tuba. He has performed with notable groups such as DCI’s Sacramento Mandarins, the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps and various ensembles in and out of his education programs. His passion for music has inspired him to pass on his knowledge to his students, and in doing so he has taught at various music programs around the state. Alex is currently the Brass Caption Head at California High School and he also manages their visual program. Alex also does clinics with sections from California High School’s Symphonic band. He has maintained his involvement with DCI as a brass instructor for Blue Devils “B” Drum and Bugle Corps and has been active with the program since 2019.
