Jim Wunderlich

Jim has served as the BDA Front Ensemble caption head and arranger since 2006. He also visits Japan several times a year where he is the Front Ensemble arranger and caption head for Tokyo's Soka Renaissance Vanguard. Other past drum corps credits include work with the Seattle Cascades, the Velvet Knights, the Brigadiers and Esperanza. He marched tenors for the Suncoast Sound in 1989. Jim was the Front Ensemble arranger and caption head for the eight-time WGI Scholastic World medalist Mission Viejo High School from 1990-2012, and currently arranges for the four-time Independent World gold medalist RCC Indoor Percussion. He also provides arrangements for the 2015 BOA Grand National Champion, Broken Arrow HS, and for William Mason HS in Mason, OH. Jim is a member of the WGI Hall of Fame, and has served on the WGI Percussion Advisory Board since 1996. He is a founding member of the Southern California Percussion Alliance.
