This is our most strongly recommended option to audition for a spot in the corps. This is an immersive full weekend experience, very similar to our camps during the spring, and also designed to specifically prepare you for our callback weekend in January. At this camp, you will meet many of the staff and many of the returning members of the Blue Devils. You will have a chance to play on the Blue Devils instruments, and you will get a sense of what it takes to become a member of the Blue Devils. This weekend will consist of ensemble time, but you will also receive an individual audition with the staff where you will preform your prepared solo material, as well as be placed in a variety of group settings with distinguished members of our teaching staff to work on specific areas of your performance. We will be covering all material in the packet, and you will also have the opportunity to receive feedback and advice from various members of the staff. Following this audition weekend, final invitations will be sent out to our callback weekend in January (or April for Guard)for those who the staff considers to be ready for the opportunity to join the ensemble cast in 2025.
