The BDPA Scholarship Fund

The BDPA Scholarship Fund is to promote innovative excellence in a young person's life. It is awarded to help fund a member's education for their future career pursuits so to enhance their BDPA performance experience.

A maximum of three $500 scholarships are awarded each year at Family Day. Awards are selected by the BDPA Scholarship Committee which is directed by the BDPA Board of Directors.

BDPA Scholarship Applicant Qualifications

  • Applications must be received no later than June 1
  • Applicant must have performed for minimum of 2 years
  • Currently participating in a BDPA Program
  • Is in good standing with the organization
  • Recommendation from Program Manager
  • Recipient must be enrolled in 12 class units at a college or a trade / vocational school specializing in the performing arts

The BD Alumni Scholarship Funds

The BD Alumni Scholarship Funds are for current Blue Devils members that have a financial hardship paying for participation fees. It is an opportunity for past Blue Devils members to give back and help current members have the Blue Devil performing experience.

The money raised in a current year will be fully used for current members. Money raised will be directed at the sole discretion of the Caption Head and the BDPA Executive Director.

BD Alumni Scholarship Applicant Qualifications

  • Member of the A Corps for two years or more
  • Dedicated in regards to participation and attendance
  • Shown good financial responsibility in past years
  • In obvious financial need currently
  • Representing high standards though current performance or teaching opportunities
  • Of good moral being and personality
