BUENA PARK, Calif. (July 12, 2026) – Blue Devils B continued its remarkable run of excellence Sunday evening, capturing its fourth consecutive Open Class Pacific Championship at the 2026 So Cal Classic with a season-high score of 72.500 .
The championship performance marks another milestone for one of drum corps' most successful Open Class programs and reflects the dedication, passion, and relentless pursuit of excellence that have become synonymous with Blue Devils B.
Competing against a talented field in Buena Park, California, Blue Devils B earned first place over Gold (69.700) and Impulse (68.100) , extending an impressive championship streak that spans four consecutive seasons.
A New Chapter
This summer has also marked an exciting new chapter for the corps under the leadership of Open Class Corps Director Matt Sieve . Working alongside an exceptional instructional team and dedicated volunteers, Sieve has continued the Blue Devils tradition of providing an educational experience that challenges members to grow both on and off the field.
“Watching this group come together throughout the season has been incredibly rewarding,” said Sieve. “Every rehearsal has been an opportunity to improve, trust one another, and push toward a common goal. This championship reflects the commitment our members have made to each other and to the process.”
