"...The Blue Devils put together a very impressive show tonight. I felt their show tonight was just as strong and clean as their record-setting World Open performance. Their horns were very clean and I was again impressed with the horn section's control and lack of over-blowing, especially notcable for their contras. The Blue Devils' drill is one of the top three drills of 1975 (Santa Clara and 27th the other two) and really complements their impressive horn show. The smooth and contemporary style of this show has got to be a trend setter, it's really beautiful, and I'll bet we see more of it next year."
