Blue Devils Color Guard Auditions – Video Submission

Video auditions are accepted until May 3, 2021.
To submit your video(s):
- Create an unlisted video on YouTube for us to review. You can submit up to three videos. See the specific requirements below.
- Once you have your audition video(s) prepared and uploaded, sign into your account, click on "Audition Info", and submit the url(s) of your videos.
Additional Video Notes
Intro
Provide a short introduction of yourself and your experience. This works like a headshot. Let us know your name, where you are from, your age, and your previous performing experiences.
Movement
Present a short movement/dance combination. Showcase the style or styles you are comfortable performing. Consider flexibility, kicks, leaps, and turns.
Show any additional skills you want to be considered, such as gymnastics, tumbling, etc.)
Equipment
We need to see you on all equipment you are comfortable performing. Flag, rifle, and sabre are all acceptable options, but there is no requirement to present all three pieces of equipment unless you are comfortable doing so.
You can showcase a short combination on all equipment or present each of them separately. Remember, we are looking for what you currently know. It’s important to see the body and equipment at the same time.
Show tosses on all pieces of equipment you are presenting. Weapon tosses through at least 6’s would be recommended.
Show any additional skills you want to be considered.
