After 2 years away, Blue Devils C is back in action this summer and incredibly excited to announce their 2022 program – It’s About Time!
Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock…
At its heart, this year’s program is literally about exploring the concept of time and how we experience it in our daily lives. However, the title is also a play on words to acknowledge that after so long without drum corps, “It’s About Time” we’re back together again!
Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock…
The time we’ve spent apart from each other recently has made us realize this activity is a HUGE part of who we are. So now, more than ever, we’re ready to come together and perform for our friends, families, and fans that we have missed so much.
“Our members and staff are so excited for the return of drum corps, and we've been itching to show you what we can do now that the gang's back together,” said Ben Kane, Blue Devil C Program Coordinator and Brass Caption Head. “We’re trying some new things with regards to body movement and choreography this year which is a big deal for the C Corps. We’re looking at the activity with a fresh set of eyes and asking – how can we move forward?”
Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock…
This year’s program features some familiar tunes including the DOCTOR WHO THEME, WHAT TIME IS IT? (from High School Musical 2), and Queen’s DON’T STOP ME NOW. Last, but not least, we’ll close the show by honoring all our fans with a celebratory rendition of MY LIFE WOULD SUCK WITHOUT YOU as made popular by Kelly Clarkson.
Under the leadership of first year director Matt Sieve, the Blue Devils C Corps can’t wait to be back on the field performing for all their family and friends! Pre-order your 2022 “It’s About Time” show shirt and check out the 2022 BDC Event Schedule to find a performance near you!
