How do I register?
Click on your section tab and follow the registration instructions listed there Soon after completing that process, you will receive an additional confirmation email from BDPA.
Where do I sign in to my BDPA Account?
Sign into your BDPA account here. If you don't already have an account from a previous experience with BDPA, one will be created for you when registering for an audition.
Are RCC auditions and the Blue Devils the auditions the same?
These are two different auditions. You must register for each audition separately.
Do I have to audition for Blue Devils to audition for RCC or vice versa?
You do not. They are two separate, and independent, auditions.
Are there audition registration discounts?
Yes. If you attended the Virtual Audition Academy.
When will I find out the status of my audition?
On approximately May 15th you will receive communication about your status.
When will I be notified about fees?
You will receive information about fees in September.
What should I wear for the audition, either in person or in a video?
It is important you wear athletic clothes and cross-training athletic shoes for all RCC auditions.
What kinds of things are you looking for with my audition?
We look for all of the basic things... quality of technique, timing, feel, how well you listen, your ability to control articulation, and your overall awareness. Outside of your musical talents, we also look at your personality, work ethic, and ability to respond to corrective criticism, as these are just as important when push comes to shove in the heat of the season!
