How do I register?

  1. Click on the event you want to attend and then go to the check out cart on the right hand side.
  2. Soon after completing that process, you will receive an additional confirmation email from us with the audition packet.
  3. Additional details and information about the event will be posted and emailed as we get closer to the event date.

To ensure that all required participant paperwork (which will be sent via DocuSign) can be processed smoothly, we need you to update your date of birth (DOB) in the system. Please follow the steps below to update your information:

  1. Log in
  2. Click General info on the left-hand side
  3. Enter Your Date of Birth in the designated field.
  4. Click the Save Button

For members under 18, a parent or guardian must also be attached to your account to sign the required forms. Please follow the steps below to update your information:

  1. Log in
  2. Click General info
  3. Enter Your Date of Birth in the designated field.
  4. Click the Save Button
  5. Click My Family on the left-hand side
  6. Click Add Family Member Button
  7. Fill in the information boxes and click Add Family Member.

Do you accept day-of registrations (walk-ups)?

Yes, however for planning purposes it is preferred you register ahead of time.

Where do I sign in to my BDPA Account?

Sign into your BDPA account here. If you don't already have an account from a previous experience with BDPA, one will be created for you when registering for any program or buying any ticket. If you are not sure if you have an account - Click Here.  If you do a password reset, an email will be sent (CHECK SPAM)

For Auditionees or Participants under 18 years old, a parent or guardian must also be attached to your account. Please follow the steps below to update your information:

Do you take video auditions?

No

Can I audition if I live in another state?

No. Members must live within a 250 Mile radius of Concord, Ca.

What kind of paperwork is involved in membership?

After auditioning, prior to full acceptance, each member must fill out a variety of forms. These forms include standard medical releases, medical history, policy agreements, etc. They will be sent via DocuSign for electronic signatures. You will also need to provide a copy of your birth certificate as well as a copy of your health insurance card. You can read all the BDPA member policies in the BDPA Handbook.

Paying BDPA Fees

  1. Login:
  2. Access Invoices:
    • After logging in, click "Invoices/Fee" on the left-hand side of the page.
    • You’ll see a list of invoices for everyone connected to you and all your connect family members
    • If you don’t see family member invoices, please contact us - HERE and tell us name, relation, and email address of the person missing.

Signing BDPA Documents – SIGNING ORDER  (if member under 18 years old)

  1. Member Completes First:
    • Documents are sent to the member's email first.
    • Documents must be completed in all fields assigned to the member and submitted.
  2. Parent/Guardian Review:
    • After the member finishes their part, the document will automatically be sent to the adult email for review and final signature.
    • However, this does not happen before or at the same time as the member email, it’s separate and after.
  3. Complete Signature:
    • Once all required parties have signed, your account will be updated, and you will get copies of all the forms, digitally.

I did not receive a callback, can I audition again?

Yes, you are welcomed and encouraged to attend as many BD Audition Events as you'd like. You can choose to audition again (each time) or use the opportunity to learn and play with the Blue Devils.

How old do I have to be to be able to participate?

Participates must be 15-19 years old.

Are there Health and Safety Guidelines?

Health and safety is incredibly important to us, and we will share all pertinent info as the season progresses.

Covid 19 Statement:

BD Performing Arts highly recommends being fully vaccinated, which includes the most recent COVID-19 vaccine, for those who are eligible. BD Performing Arts reserves the right to request proof of vaccination as part of this verification process. The necessity of this requirement is contingent on the absence of surges in COVID-19 or other infectious disease outbreaks. We remain committed to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all members of our community.

Are there any forms I need to fill out?

We will email you the medical form before your audition or Opening Night registration. Those will be sent you via Docusign. You must complete it before you arrive for auditions.

If you are selected as a Callback, you must turn in the Physical form by the January Callback Weekend. Click here to download the form. Completed forms are to be emailed to [email protected]. The physical form is due at this time for all returning members and callbacks.

Does BDPA house the members over the summer?

Only while touring.  Members are responsible for housing for camps and all days.

How much does it cost to participate?

The exact participation fees vary from year to year, but generally the cost for participating in Blue Devils B is approximately $2,500-$3,500. Payment can be made in installments. Installment due dates are sent out to members upon acceptance.

Is there any financial aid available?

There are a variety of scholarships that members can apply for.

Is there a payment plan for tuition?

Yes. There will be a detailed payment plan provided upon acceptance.

Do we stay overnight?

There is no overnight housing at the rehearsal sites.

Do I need to bring my instrument or equipment?

Yes, while we do have some instruments, we recommended that you bring your own instrument or equipment.










  • Brass - If you have it, bring it.
  • Battery - If you have it, bring it, including drums, stands, carrier.
  • Front Ensemble - Bring any mallets you have
  • Guard - If you have it, bring it, this includes, flag (with pole), rifle, and saber

Will members be fed during All Days?

Yes! Once we get to June, members will be fed throughout the All Days/Tour dates.

How often does the corps rehearse?

Starting in January, the corps typically rehearses two weekends a month in Concord, CA. In early June, all-day, every-day rehearsals begin in preparation for the summer tour. Read more about housing in Concord.

Will the group be going to Indianapolis this year?

No. The corps will participate in a California Tour.

When will students know their status?

By the end of the weekend, students should know their audition status.

Can parents hang out during the auditions?

Absolutely! Take lots of pictures of this experience :)
