Color Guard is a choreographed performance that includes dance moves to music and the spinning of equipment such as flags performed on an indoor basketball court. Instruction includes basic dance moves, traveling combinations, and flag spinning techniques. The final performance is choreographed to highlight each member's skills. Read the full history of BDPA.
Practice sessions are held on Mondays from 7–8pm, starting in October. See the full calendar. Please feel free to attend a few classes and see if this is an activity that will work for you and your family. All instruction and equipment is provided free of charge. Ages 12 and up.
It's great exercise and a lot of fun! Newcomers are always welcome.
